Word Clouds

Today, I'm going to post two images made using TagCrowd.
TagCrowd.com. (n.d.). Retrieved July 12, 2017, from http://tagcrowd.com/

I tried Wordle and Tagxedo, too, but they
didn't work out so tried TagCrowd, and
it finally turned out fine so please check this out.

These words are from the side that supports animal rights.
Cited from
Why Animal Rights? (n.d.). Retrieved July 12, 2017, from https://www.peta.org/about-peta/why-peta/why-animal-rights/

You can see words like, "equal" "morally" "prejudice" "suffering" and so  on.

This is from a platform where anyone can debate on a certain issue like animal rights.

It's kind of hard to find pro-animal rights side websites.
You can see words like "testing" "products" "medical" and so on.
I think it's really important to know why people on this side think like that.
Knowing opinions from the opposite side will cultivate your understanding on the issue you're addressing and give your opinions more power.

  1. There are interesting differences between the words emphasized in the word clouds based on content from the two different sites. It's clear that PETA emphasizes the moral aspect of the issues, with words like "pain," "value," "prejudice," and "suffering," while in the debate website more neutral words connected to the issue of animal experimentation are emphasized.
